What’s In A Bath?
People are always curious about what their pups do when they visit us for either a bath or grooming. When you bring your pet in either the groomer or bather will check them in. If they are getting a haircut, the groomer will make sure she knows exactly what style you want. If you need your pet out by a certain time, let the groomer know so she knows how long she has to get Fido finished, if you don’t mind what time they are done, just let them know they can call you when your pet is done. Grooming is not like going to a regular salon however. They do not start the haircut immediately. Your pup may come in at 8 but the groomer may not start his haircut until later. Now, don’t misunderstand, your pet does not sit and wait. There is much to be done before the groomer can take over.

First the bather will trim their nails and pads. Then they will get brushed out to make sure there are no tangles or mats in their hair. Next up is bath time! Using our top of the line shampoos and conditioners, your pet will get scrubbed and rinsed to perfection! If you chose to include a package this is when your pup would get that extra pampering! Next comes the most time consuming part, drying. The bather has to make sure all of your dog’s hair is good and dry! Once all that is taken care of if your pet was only here for a bath it would be time to put on a scarf and get ready to go home, however, if they are also getting groomed, now is the time.
Your groomer will give the haircut you specified, taking time to let your pup rest for breaks whenever he needs one. Once he is all trimmed and beautiful he will get his scarf and be ready to head home! Whew, what a lot of work, but as the old cliché goes—its not easy being beautiful!
