Ron and Denise Rodeheaver founded Winding Road Kennel in Parkersburg, WV in 1993 with the goal of providing a safe, comfortable, resort-like haven for beloved companion animals. We provide each of our guests with superior care and human companionship while their families are away. Every member of our staff loves animals, and we take care of your pet as if they were our own while they stay with us.
Our groomers are fully licensed Companion Animal Hygienists, and Winding Road Kennel belongs to the National Dog Groomers Association of America and the Pet Care Services Association. Winding Road Kennel has a team of groomers with experience working with all breeds, ages, and sizes of dog. Owner and Certified Master Groomer Denise Rodeheaver and her staff look forward to helping your pooch sparkle. From standard baths and cuts to specialty salon packages for fleas or de-shedding, we offer the highest quality grooming and pampering services. Please Note:
Effective April 1, 2018, we will be recommending all dogs that come for boarding and/or grooming be vaccinated for Canine Influenza. This vaccination is a series of two booster shots. Although no cases of Canine Influenza have been reported in our area, it is our priority to keep our furry customers safe and healthy. After speaking to several local veterinarians, we feel that this is the most effective way to prevent the spread of the disease to our area. If your vet does not offer the vaccine, please call our office for a list of vet offices in our area that do.
